Meet Dr. Munn Saechao

UC Berkeley

The Wright Institute

PsyD, LCSW & PPSC

You may look capable on the outside, handling responsibilities, showing up for others, and keeping things moving, but underneath, you may feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or emotionally drained.

You might struggle with focus, motivation, or follow through. You may find yourself overthinking, doubting yourself, or feeling like you are constantly trying to keep up. Or as a parent, you may feel unsure how to best support your child while managing everything else on your plate.

If this sounds familiar, you are not alone, and you do not have to keep navigating it on your own.

Dr. Munn provides a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin making sense of what needs care and attention.

A Thoughtful, Collaborative Approach

Dr. Munn’s approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in understanding the whole person, not just the symptoms. Therapy offers space to slow down, reflect on what you have been carrying, and begin making sense of the patterns that may be keeping you overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected.

Together, you and Dr. Munn work to build insight, strengthen self-awareness, and develop practical tools that feel supportive and sustainable for your life. This process is about helping you feel understood, supported, and more connected to yourself as you move toward meaningful, lasting growth.

Who She Works With

Dr. Munn specializes in working with:

  • High achieving teens navigating stress, anxiety, ADHD, or low mood
  • Adults who appear put together on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, disorganized, stuck, or disconnected.
  • Parents who feel stretched thin, unsure how to help their child, or carrying the weight of family stress

Her clients are often thoughtful, driven, and capable, but need support making sense of what they are experiencing and finding a way forward that feels sustainable.

Her personal experiences inform the way she connects with clients who may be carrying pressure, high expectations, self doubt, or the weight of trying to hold many roles at once. She brings this perspective into therapy with warmth, authenticity, and a deep respect for each client’s story.

Outside of Therapy
