Anxiety

Feeling Overwhelmed, On Edge, or Never Quite at Ease?

Anxiety can be exhausting, especially when you are used to pushing through, holding everything together, and trying to meet high expectations. You may find yourself overthinking, second-guessing decisions, fearing failure, or feeling like one mistake could undo everything you have worked so hard to build.

Even when things look fine on the outside, anxiety can create a constant sense of pressure internally. You may feel tense, restless, disconnected, or unable to fully relax. Over time, this can affect your confidence, relationships, work, and ability to feel present in your own life.

Many adults experience anxiety alongside ADHD and periods of low mood, which can make everyday life feel overwhelming and unpredictable. You may find yourself caught between overthinking and avoidance, wanting to move forward but feeling stuck or depleted. Therapy can help you make sense of these patterns and begin to understand your experience in a more integrated and supportive way.

If this feels familiar, you are not alone. Therapy offers a space to slow down, feel understood, and make sense of what anxiety has been carrying for you.

Support for the Emotional Impact of Anxiety

Therapy for anxiety is not just about learning how to calm down. It is also about understanding the fears, patterns, pressures, and self-expectations that keep anxiety active.

Together, we can explore what feels overwhelming, strengthen self-awareness, and help you relate to yourself with more compassion and trust. The goal is not to become perfect or pressure-free, but to feel more grounded, connected, and able to move through life with greater ease.

Taking the First Step Can Feel Hard

Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you are used to managing everything on your own. You may wonder if your anxiety is “serious enough,” whether therapy will help, or if someone will truly understand what you are carrying.

You do not have to figure it out alone. Therapy offers a place to be heard, supported, and understood as you begin making sense of your experience.

Let’s Begin Together

If anxiety has been affecting your peace, confidence, relationships, or sense of self, therapy can help you feel less alone and more supported in your growth.

You deserve a space where you can pause, be understood, and begin moving forward with care, intention, and support.

Frequently Asked Questions

You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Here are answers to common questions to help you feel more informed, supported, and at ease.

I specialize in working with teens, adults, and parents of children with ADHD who are struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, and emotional overwhelm. Many of the individuals I work with are bright, thoughtful, and hardworking, yet often struggle internally with exhaustion, self-doubt, focus difficulties, fear of failure, performance anxiety, persistent stress, or difficulty sustaining motivation.

My approach is collaborative, warm, and deeply respectful of how your brain works. I tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs, strengths, identity, and nervous system, with an emphasis on understanding how you naturally think, feel, process, and navigate the world.

Our work together may include building practical supports for coping, communication, emotional regulation, organization, and daily functioning, while also exploring the deeper sources of stress, burnout, masking, or recurring patterns. My goal is not to fix who you are. It is to help you understand yourself more deeply, reduce distress, and build more sustainable ways of living.
