Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Here you’ll find answers to common questions to help you feel more informed and at ease.
I specialize in working with teens, adults, and parents of children with ADHD who are struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, and emotional overwhelm. Many of the individuals I work with are bright, thoughtful, and hardworking, yet often struggle internally with exhaustion, self-doubt, focus difficulties, fear of failure, performance anxiety, persistent stress, or difficulty sustaining motivation.
My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, warm, and neurodivergent affirming. Therapy is tailored to each person’s unique needs, strengths, identity, and nervous system, with an emphasis on understanding how they naturally think, feel, process, connect, and navigate the world.
Therapy may include building practical supports for coping, communication, emotional regulation, organization, and daily functioning, while also exploring the deeper sources of stress, pain, masking, burnout, or recurring patterns. The goal is not to fix who someone is, but to reduce distress, strengthen self-understanding, support authentic growth, and create more sustainable ways of living.
You can schedule a free 20-minute consultation to learn more about the process and explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
Yes. I provide secure telehealth therapy for clients throughout California, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
Absolutely. It is completely normal to want more information before taking the next step. This section is here to answer common questions, and the consultation is a low pressure way to learn more and explore whether therapy feels like the right fit.
I am not in-network with insurance providers. However, I can provide a superbill with the appropriate diagnostic and procedure codes for clients who wish to seek reimbursement through out-of-network mental health benefits.
I encourage you to contact your insurance provider in advance to better understand your coverage, deductible, reimbursement rate, and any requirements for reimbursement.
You may contact the member services number on the back of your insurance card to verify the following information:
- What are my out of network mental health benefits?
- What is my reimbursement rate for a psychotherapy session (CPT 90834)? What will you pay up to per psychotherapy session?
- What is my session allowance for psychotherapy? Is it limited or unlimited?
- Do I have a deductible? Note: a deductible is a specified amount of money that the insured must pay before an insurance company will pay a claim.
- Do I have to meet the deductible before insurance will cover the therapy session?
- What is the deductible amount?
- What is the reimbursement rate for psychotherapy after the deductible has been met?
- What is my reimbursement rate for psychotherapy once I have met my out of pocket maximum?
- What is my out of pocket maximum?
- What administrative steps do I have to take to get reimbursed?
My fees reflect the highly specialized nature of adolescent and adult ADHD care and my extensive clinical training and experience. For specific fee information, please feel free to contact me directly. I am happy to discuss.
I may be a good fit if you are looking for depth-oriented, culturally responsive therapy and are ready to meet consistently. Many of my clients are high-achieving adults, graduate students, professionals, parents, or teens navigating ADHD, anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, identity, family/cultural expectations, or the pressure to hold everything together.
My practice is best suited for clients who are seeking ongoing therapy rather than short-term coaching, crisis support, or in-network insurance-based therapy. I currently offer weekday appointments and do not have weekend or evening appointments after 6pm available.
If you are unsure whether my practice is the right fit, you are welcome to reach out for a free 20-minute consultation so we can talk through what you are looking for and whether I may be able to support you.

Additional Questions
Answers to additional questions about therapy, fees, and getting started.
I accept credit and debit cards at the time of service. HSA and FSA cards may also be used when applicable.
The length of therapy varies depending on each person’s goals, needs, and progress.
Some individuals benefit from short-term work focused on specific skills or challenges, while others find long-term therapy more helpful for deeper exploration and sustained growth. I typically discuss this with clients early on and reassess as treatment progresses, so that the work continues to feel relevant and purposeful.
In general, therapy takes place once or twice per week, and sessions are 45 minutes.
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I will ask about what is bringing you in, your history, and what you are hoping to get out of therapy. It is also a chance for you to ask questions and get a feel for whether working together feels like a good fit. There is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with right away.
Yes. Everything discussed in therapy is confidential, with a few exceptions required by law. These include situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse or neglect of a minor or vulnerable adult, or when a court orders the release of records. I will review these limits of confidentiality with you at the start of our work together so you feel fully informed.

My Professional Disclaimer includes national and local support resources for urgent concerns.
I am not able to provide crisis intervention services, and my practice is not set up for urgent or same-day contact. If you are unsure whether what you are experiencing constitutes a crisis, please err on the side of caution and reach out to one of the resources above.
If you are an existing client and have a non-urgent concern between sessions, please call or email me, and I will respond as soon as I am able.
Telehealth therapy offers a number of meaningful advantages, particularly for individuals with ADHD.
Attending sessions from your own environment eliminates the time and logistical demands of commuting, which can be a significant barrier for people who already find it challenging to manage schedules and transitions. Many of my clients find that the flexibility of telehealth actually supports more consistent attendance, which is one of the most important factors in therapeutic progress.
Telehealth also allows us to work together regardless of where you are in California, making it possible to access specialized ADHD care without being limited by geography. Sessions take place through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform to ensure your privacy and confidentiality at all times.
I periodically offer workshops and psychoeducational programs focused on ADHD, emotional regulation, and related topics. These are designed to provide accessible, evidence-informed information in a supportive group setting.
If you are interested in learning about upcoming workshops or group offerings, please contact me directly.
